A few rooms on the estate are kept for family; everyone else will be just minutes away.
Surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, and rolling Tuscan hills, this beautiful estate is where we’ll gather to celebrate, share incredible meals, drink good wine, and spend time with the people we love most.

Welcome Dinner
Aperitivo on the loggia as everyone arrives, followed by a long Tuscan dinner under the pergola, with courses from the villa's own kitchen garden and a great deal of wine.
The Villa TerraceWedding Ceremony
We will be married beneath the old olive trees, looking out across the valley, followed by cocktails in the lemon courtyard, dinner in the main courtyard under the lights, and dancing long into the night. Please be seated by 3:45 PM.
The Olive GroveTravel & Stay
Florence (FLR) is the closest of the main airports, with Pisa (PSA) and Rome Fiumicino (FCO) also workable — Rome usually has the better long-haul fares. We’re still finalizing ground transport and will share details closer to the date. See “Where to Stay” in the Casa Cornacchi section above for where to book a room.
Dress Code
Welcome Dinner: La Dolce Vita. Think fashion-forward. Florals, bright cocktail dresses, and bright linens or casual suits for the men.
Wedding Attire: Formal. Tuxedos and floor length gowns are preferred, as well as suits and formal cocktail dresses.
*May in Tuscany is warm by day and genuinely cool after dark. Bring a wrap or a jacket for the evenings.

Your presence in Italy is the gift. Truly, you are flying a very long way.

Frequently Asked Questions
What airport should I fly into?
Florence (FLR) is the closest of the main airports, with Pisa (PSA) and Rome Fiumicino (FCO) also workable — Rome often has better long-haul fares from Houston and Lagos. We're still finalizing ground transport options and will share details as soon as they're confirmed.
Do I need a visa?
Italy is in the Schengen Area. US and UK passport holders do not need a visa for short stays. Nigerian passport holders do. Please start that application early, as appointments in Lagos and Abuja book up months ahead. Tell us if you need a formal invitation letter and we will send one immediately.
When should I arrive?
Ideally Tuesday morning or early afternoon, so you are settled before the Welcome Dinner at 5:00 PM. If you can only make Wednesday, the ceremony is at 4:00 PM and you will not miss the main event.
Can I extend my stay?
Please do, most people are staying a week. Rooms on the estate are only held for the wedding nights, but there are lovely villas, borgos, and B&Bs in the surrounding countryside, and we are happy to point you at our favorites.
What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Be seated by 3:45 PM. The ceremony starts at 4:00 PM in the olive grove and will not wait. Italian weddings start late, ours will not.
Will the wedding be outdoors?
Yes. Ceremony in the olive grove, cocktails in the lemon courtyard, dinner in the main courtyard under the lights. There is a covered loggia if the weather turns, but May in Tuscany is usually kind.
Is this an adults-only celebration?
We adore your little ones, but we have decided to keep the wedding weekend adults-only, so treat it as a rare excuse for a weekend away. If that makes childcare tricky, let us know and we will help you think it through.
Can I bring a plus one?
Your invitation shows exactly who is included, and your RSVP page lists everyone we are expecting from your household. If you think we have made a mistake, please tell us, we would rather fix it than have you wondering.
How do I get from the airport or train station to the venue?
We're looking into shuttle options for guests staying close by and will share details as soon as they're confirmed. In the meantime, guests can arrange taxis, private drivers, or rental cars from Florence, Pisa, or Rome airports, or from the Montevarchi or Arezzo train stations — plan on arranged transport to be safe until shuttle details are locked in.
Should I hire a car?
You do not need one for the wedding itself. But if you are staying on either side, a car turns this region from lovely into extraordinary. Book it before you fly. May is high season and the airport desks run out.
Where should I stay?
Space on the estate is limited to immediate family, so most guests will be staying nearby rather than on site. There are lovely villas, borgos, and B&Bs in the surrounding countryside within easy reach. If you would like to be even closer, Casa Cornacchi has a few private villas nearby, just email us and we will help you coordinate.
Is breakfast included?
For guests on the estate, yes, served on the pool terrace from 8:00 AM until late, because we know how the nights are going to go. Hotel guests should check with their property.
What is the weather like in May?
Warm days around 22–25°C (72–77°F) and cool evenings that can drop to 12°C (54°F). Bring something for your shoulders after dark, and sunscreen for the afternoons.
